Dear Ward Member,

We were asked to hold a Scams Awareness event at Barclays Bank today.  Very successful was able to advise people of scams and how to minimise becoming a victim.

Even if they only took one piece of advice away, for phone scams, it is to count to 5, do not speak.  If no-one speaks put the phone down.

We will next be at Barclays 09/06/2023 10:30 – 12:30 and 28/07/2023 10:00 – 13:00
