We decided to visit RAF Hornchurch Heritage Centre on Sunday and we were lucky to get a tour and have a chat with Tony Philpot the Chairman and some of the other volunteers.
We strongly recommend a visit as soon as you can. It’s open Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm and groups can be booked in by arrangement.
