Protest outside the Town Hall – Wednesday 22nd Jan 6:30PM

Town Hall Protest

Cranham Ward is facing a number of threats to the open green spaces and green belt land. Residents have been sharing their concerns with the Cranham Ward Councillors, who are currently challenging planning applications that put the green spaces and the green belt at risk of being developed and lost for ever. We have also seen dissatisfaction with the loss of the 30 minutes free parking in Upminster and Hornchurch.

It is therefore no surprise that residents will once again be campaigning on all of these issues outside the Town Hall, before the start of the next Full Council Meeting on Wednesday 22nd January, the night that Havering’s Residents Associations pursue their motion to get the reinstatement of the free 30 minutes parking. The campaign is set to start at 6.30pm outside the Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3BD, where all of the Havering’s Residents Association (H.R.A) Councillors will be joining residents at the protest.
