Dear Councillors and Community Organisations,

We have exciting news!! Harold Hill Wombles and Havering Green Streets are re-launching the “Library Litter Lend” service in our 10 local libraries (listed below with open times)!

This is a fantastic way to help the community, meet locals, and inspire others. It’s also a fantastic way to get involved in The Great Big Green Week from 10th-18th June.

The litter picks (6 for each library) and white sacks will be in all the libraries by the 10th June so we would love your help to get behind this new service if you have any availability, and run a litter pick with your local community involved. Please also share far and wide, we will be sharing a poster on socials shortly.

To hold a litter pick, simply phone the number below and arrange a time for collection, and then invite others to join you on the day.  Please let us know if, when & where your litter pick is and we can share, drum up support and try to attend.
