In all my years of visiting Harrow Lodge Park, I don’t think I have ever seen so many Swans in the lake. It is quite a sight!! And the sound the noise makes beneath their wings as they are taking off over the water is incredible.
Don’t forget you can get an amazing hot chocolate or bacon sarnie at the lovely Lakeview Palace cafe. (toilets open too)
Has anyone seen the cygnets lately, haven’t seen them for a few weeks now
I have not seen them either. Ask Ali in the cafe, he works with the Conservation Group over at the Lake. The conservation volunteers are there almost every day as it had been nesting season.
