On Sunday 1 July  a special service was held in St Nicholas Church, Elm Park to celebrate 75 years of the NHS.  The service was led by Rev Amanda Keighley (Mayor’s Chaplain) and the preacher was Rev Dr Tom Keighley.  In attendance were the Deputy Lord Lieutenant, Mike Brace CBE DL, The Mayor of Havering, Cllr Stephanie Nunn, Mayor’s Consort, Cllr Barry Mugglestone, Kathryn Halford OBE Chief Nurse, BHR Hospitals NHS Trust.

The actual birthday of the NHS is on Wednesday 5 July.
