  1. Use our money to defend our rights to travel freely in and around this borough. We have to stand up to this mayoral dictator. I don’t believe it has fully impacted on most residents what this further tax on our liberty means. I can’t afford a new car and I know that most people will not be able to do so either especially in these inflationary circumstances. Banging this on us by August gives us no time to reassess and make other travel options. Ok so we can use our free travel card but only if we are able to walk to and from the bus stops and train stations in extreme hot or cold weather. Food delivery costs will be impacted along with mini cab fares. It will also prove to be detrimental to our mental health. This week alone I have had to make four journeys to dentists & Doctors. The pollution in these areas bear no comparison to central London. We are not East London…maybe East of London but certainly not London no matter how they want to shift their boundaries for electoral and tax purposes. We have to stand up and say NO!NO!NO!We are being screwed into the ground, literally
