At our last meeting of the Upminster and District Probus Club which is held at The Cranleigh Restaurant in Hornchurch we enjoyed a meal consisting of soup and a roll followed by lasagne with salad and garlic bread, finishing with lemon sponge topped with lemon sauce.
We were entertained by Toni Mount speaking about Life in Medieval London (Sex in the City). At our November meeting we will be served soup and a roll followed by American chicken, jacket potato, tomatoes and sweetcorn finishing withpple pie and custard then tea or coffee. Our speaker will talk about Marilyn Monroe.
